How long does the Boost Fin last for surfing and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP)? For Surfing, there are 2 switching modes: long boosts for paddling out and short boosts for catching waves. A fully charged battery provides approximately 2 hours of use. For SUP, there are 3 modes: Assistance – up to 60 minutes, Trolling – up to 45 minutes, Wind – up to 30 minutes.

Do I need to buy any additional items? The package includes the Boost Fin, longboard adapter (US fin box), remote control, charger, and mounting kit. If your board requires a specific adapter, you will need to select the appropriate one.

What is the battery life of the Boost Fin? The cycle life exceeds 500 cycles, with the residual discharge capacity remaining above 80% of nominal capacity after 500 cycles with a 90% depth of discharge (DOD) charge and discharge at rated current.

How can I control the Fin? The Boost Fin can be controlled using 2 buttons for Short Boost and Long Boost. One press activates the motor, while another press turns it off. You can easily adjust each Boost parameter in the app to find the settings that suit you best.

The Boost Fin can be installed on any board in just 5 minutes, similar to any other fin. The standard package includes the Longboard Adapter, and additional adapters are available for FCS, Futures, Soft Top, SUP, kayak, and more.

With a battery capacity of 3500 mAh, the Boost Fin allows for extended session times in various modes. It provides up to 100 minutes in SUP Assistance Mode, 70 minutes in Trolling Mode, and 40 minutes in Wind/Current Resistance Mode.
